A New Me By 53-Day 1

Day 1 of my “New Me By 53” project went well.  This is what I ate:

Breakfast:  Jimmy Dean’s  ham and cheese omelet. Lunch:  Salad bar at Jason’s Deli

Snack at work: 2 Lance cracker sandwiches (cream cheese and chives flavored – 33 calories a piece)

After work I went to the gym and walked 3 miles on a treadmill.  I enjoyed my first workout there.  I plan on going 5 or 6 times a week alternating between cardio on one day and circuit training on the next.  They have some nice circuit training rooms at Planet Fitness to work out several different muscle groups.

Now I think I will grab a bag of salad, spinach and arugula.  Maybe I can find some other veggies to throw in there with it.  My next official weigh-in is on Monday morning.
