Abundance is – LAUGHTER

Laughter increases the secretions of endorphins in the brain, which in turn increases oxygenation of the blood,  relaxes arteries, and decreases blood pressure creating a positive effect on the cardio-respiratory systems which increases the overall immune system response. –From the movie – Patch Adams.

A great laugh seems like an effortless thing,
but it is actually a complex neurological process in the brain,
increasing health & longevity. – Dr. Caroline Leaf.

Laughter is some thing that is needed every day, but something that may be lacking in many of our lives.  I know I do not laugh nearly enough.  In a world that seems dark and depressing at times, a world that is shadowed with debt, divorce, and destruction, a world where the ‘devil roams around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour’ – 1 Peter 1:8, we need laughter every day.  So think about abundance.  Think about the little things in life that make you sing, that make your heart soar:

1. A colorful tree on a fall day.
2. A cool breeze
3. A song on the radio that touches your heart.
4. A great movie
5. Your favorite comedy rerun on TV Land.
6. Running, laughing, playing…..THE LIST IS ENDLESS

So, find your tickle spot today.  Find your happy place.  Act like a child and be crazy for a day, and don’t worry what anybody thinks.

This is Terri Byars, encouraging you to laugh your cares away.
